Down with K-Ville

I have an issue with K-Ville. I posted about it last night. The cartoonish way they portray New Orleans is an assault on my sensibilities. So I was thrilled to read last night about David Simon. He's thinking about doing a drama based on the musicians of New Orleans.

Now he may give some authenticity to the portrayal of New Orleans on TV. Like I have said before, you don't need to make things up, New Orleans has plenty enough drama to go around. You just need the right person to capture it. Maybe David Simon will be the one to do it.

Here's hoping he takes on the challenge.
