Someone smack me

Today's post will be relatively short (I can hear the cheers) I'm a grad student, I also happen to put all other procrastinators to shame. (In fact this post is a go at further procrastination)Tomorrow I have a midterm. The content includes three works of non fiction that I began to read yesterday. All told I will have read 1500 pages of text by 5:30 tomorrow. How pray tell will I do this. I have been reading for twelve hours straight. I believe my eyes have crossed and I still have 23 hours left. I fear that they may never uncross. So if future post are a little off it's all because of a reading marathon. May I earn an A!

About Me

My photo
The long, long road home,New Orleans
Fort Hood, texas, United States
I am a New Orleans girl, born and raised (N.Dupre St, Painters St and finally Neptune Ct in the East). I married and found myself in a strange new world...Florida! That lasted two years before I demanded we go home. In August 04 my husband decided to join the Army much to my chagrin. I agreed figuring four years then we head back home. Alas, Katrina came along. I felt guilty that my family and friends lives had been turned upside down while my life in Texas was business as usual. Now its two years later and my husband is getting out of the military. Now I find I too have been affected by Katrina. I am essentially priced out of my own city and damn mad about it. So I decided to start this blog as a place to vent my frustration. Feel free to read and leave your own thoughts.
